Experienced Person Centred Counsellor

As a qualified Person Centred Counsellor, based in Echt, Westhill, Aberdeenshire, I have been practicing for 20 years and am experienced in many areas of counselling. I believe everyone is entitled to have their story heard in a place of safety, inclusivity, respect and compassion and I strive to provide a non-judgemental, healing environment to help you develop a healthier and more rewarding approach to life.

Why am I struggling?

Although you feel that you are doing the best you can, along the way you may be facing daily challenges, unexpected changes and hurdles in life which can impact your ability to cope. Trying to cover up or bury your problems only works for a while before everything becomes overwhelming and life is a daily struggle, eventually affecting your mental health and if unchecked, possibly your physical health.

It is important to get the right kind of help

At times like these, you may feel that reaching out for help could be a confusing and frightening process and many people only take that step when things have reached crisis point. However, wherever you are in your struggle, it’s never too late, or too early, to ask for help and I admire and appreciate the courage and strength it takes to make that decision.

I recognise the need to feel safe and comfortable and having a meaningful therapeutic relationship with your Counsellor is integral to helping you to make important changes in your life. I never pre-judge my clients and respect them as unique individuals with their own ways of being and functioning day to day. I feel honoured to hear their stories and my desire and motivation to work collaboratively and sensitively with clients at their own pace is genuine.

You may not know where to begin,
but we will start wherever you are at
